And....

Eight graders - Please be sure to email me your blog address. I will follow your blogs closely!

8th Grade - Create your blog!

Eighth Graders,

You will use Blog Spot to create your blog for computer class.

Your assignment for today:
Go to Blogger.com to create a new blog of your own.
Put up at least 2 posts. The first post should be an introductory post about what kind of Blog you will host. Tell the audience what they can expect to find on your blog and what to look forward to. Do you think it's information other people need or want to read about?

The second post should be an "About The Blogger Post." Include information about why you chose the topic for the blog. You may include information about yourself but please remember what you learned about internet safety!

5th Grade - First Assignment

Students,

You just visited the Discovery Channel website and viewed a clip of your choice.

Pretend you are an editor. Post a comment to our blog site in response to the video you watched. Be sure to include the title of the clip and what the clip was about. Write about what you liked and interested you most. Write about what was most memorable about the clip - was it the pictures? Film? Narration? Did you learn something new? Perhaps you could write about what you would have liked to have seen more of or what you would change.

Your response should be at least 1 paragraph or five sentences.

This is your response and can be an honest reaction to the clip. But remember it will be posted on the website and you should consider what we learned about internet safety.

Yours,
Miss. Lowe
